Stranded star fibre

Designed for smaller installations, this stranded star fibre is, as the name suggests, used predominantly for star effect lighting. Whether it’s for star effects in decking, showers, or ceilings, this fibre guarantees durability and ease of installation.


The star fibre strands are bundled together in a black outer sheath that serves to protect them and to help installation but keeping them tidy.

FIBRE CABLES


The fibre cable carries light from the lightsource using total internal reflection, (ie bouncing light). It therefore carries no electricity and contains no electrical wires. It simply bounces light down its inner core.


The different types of cable can be used for different effects from tiny starry skies to large perimeter lighting of buildings. All of our fibre cable can be cut simply by using our fibre cutters and has been designed to aid in effortless installation, and a lifetime of service.

NEO-100-XX & NEO-200-XX


Available in 2 sizes, 6mm, and 12mm diameter, neotube fibre is a side emitting fibre that glows evenly along its entire length. A flexible yet tough construction allows the fibre to be bent in any manner of shapes, for highlighting or edge lighting features,walkways and buildings. As with all of our fibre optics, the neotube cable can replace conventional cold cathode lighting strips, and allow similar effects to be created, in wet damp and humid environments, as well as low level areas that would have been impossible with conventional forms of strip lighting. It can even be used underwater.


Colours can be controlled easily depending on the lightsource options you choose.
